Taking Back [Evolution] Sunday!

Join us in celebrating Creation Sunday 2010 on Sunday, February 14, 2010. If your church is willing to dedicate its service to the doctrine of Creation on this date with churches across USAmerica, let us know!

The signers of Dr Michael Zimmerman's pro-evolution Clergy Letter Project will be celebrating an Evolution Sunday on this very same date, preaching that evolution is true and that the first 11 chapters of Genesis are teaching stories like Aesop's fables - from our very pulpits!

Since 2006, the pro-evolution Clergy Letter Project has successfully promoted the celebration of an Evolution Sunday in churches throughout the world. They also have a list of nearly 12,000 ministers who affirm that evolution is true and that the Genesis record is a teaching myth like Aesop’s Fables.The Clergy Letter Project is often cast in the faces of Creationists to insinuate that we are merely a fringe element of Christianity, because there has not yet been an answer to their challenge. Our silence is used as an admission of our alleged irrelevance.

It is disgusting that this modern-day Goliath gets to mock the people of God, flaunting the compromise of some of our ministers as if it represented the majority opinion, with no answer in kind.

One of the ways we can re-affirm the doctrines of Biblical Creation and Catastrophism and answer the mockery of Evolution Sunday is by celebrating a Creation Sunday instead.

Since Creation Sunday 2010 falls on St Valentine’s Day, our proposed theme is Whom Do You Love? Jesus warned that no man can serve two masters [authorities]. In the end, he’ll love one and despise the other. The question is: Which authority will we despise and which will we defend? Will we despise the revealed, inerrant Word of an infinite, infallible God who was there in favor of the grasping, often mistaken word of fallible, finite men – so long as they claim it’s science?! Or will we cast down anything that exalts itself against the infallible knowledge of the revealed Word of Christ Jesus the Creator?

If you are the pastor of a church who intends on holding a Creation Sunday, you should add your name to our list of Creation Sunday celebrations to let Christians in your area know that there is a house of worship in their area that will be doing so.
