Welcome to the Creation Sunday 2010 Network!

http://creationsunday.ning.com

Dr. Michael Zimmerman's pro-evolution Clergy Letter Project has a list of nearly 12,000 ministers who affirm that evolution is true and that the Genesis record is a teaching myth like Aesop’s Fables. Since 2006, they have also successfully promoted the celebration of an Evolution Sunday in churches throughout the world. In 2009, their Evolution Weekend included 1,049 Congregations from all 50 States, the District of Columbia, US Virgin Islands and 15 Countries. 410 congregations have already pledged to participate in Evolution Sunday 2010.

There must be a response in kind from those who believe in the literal, historical reliability of the Genesis revelation.

We invite you to celebrate Creation Sunday 2010 with us this February 14, 2010 rather than Dr Michael Zimmerman's proposed Evolution Sunday. We want to see churches in each and every US State proudly devoting their worship service to the Biblical doctrine of Creation this February 14, 2010! If your church is willing to join the Creation Sunday celebration, CLICK HERE to let us know and to let others know there is a church in their area that still affirms the historical reliability of God's revealed Word.

You can find ideas for how to celebrate your Creation Sunday at this link.

Defending Genesis Newsletter – November ‘09 Web Edition

To receive this Newsletter in your email, join our Yahoo group at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/creationletter/ Noah’s Ark: Beyond Flannelgraph  Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to give our Noah’s Ark: Beyond Flannelgraph presentation to two groups of young people: a home school co-op and a local church youth group [United Gospel Mission, Charleston, WV]. It’s always exciting to give people [...]

Noah’s Ark: Beyond Flannelgraph

A lot of people have serious reservations as to whether the Ark Noah built was big enough to hold all of the animals God sent him to save from the world-wide Flood. This is largely the fault of an all-too-common image of a cute, little bathtub toy Ark over-stuffed with adorable animals, often with a [...]

Reasonable Enough: Why Reason Does Not Compel Acceptance

It is COMPLETELY WRONG to say that I think atheists or any other non-Christians would agree with me if they would just open up their eyes and see reason.  I do not believe reason could infect someone [profoundly affect someone] so as to compel them to see my position as truth.   I don’t think that at [...]

Why I’m Boycotting the Home Depot, or the Anti-Religious Firing of Kevin Trevor

I sent the following in an email to the Home Depot’s Public Relation’s department. They have yet to respond. I hope those who value freedom of religious expression will join me in boycotting Home Depot for what I feel is a clear case of religious discrimination: It has come to my attention that you fired an employee [...]

Evolutionary Theology: How Evolution and Millions of Years Affects Traditional Theology

I recently came across a post calledWhat is “evolutionary theology”? The author asked a series of questions concerning the implications for theology if evolution were true. Below are his questions and my answers. The athor, whom I found to be fair and generous, is asking the right questions. I hope he comes to the right [...]

Of the Nominal Creationist

A 2006 CBS news poll concluded that "Americans do not believe that humans evolved, and the vast majority says that even if they evolved, God guided the process. Just 13 percent say that God was not involved. ... Support for evolution is more heavily concentrated among those with more education and among those who attend religious services rarely or not at all." Likewise, a 2005 Pew Research Forum poll concluded that 2/3rds of USAmericans want Creationism taught alongside evolutionism in public s… Continue

Twilight’s last Gleaming?

"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." --John Adams, October 11, 1798

"And that the said ConstitutioContinue

20 Logic errors used by evolutionists when discussing origins

When listening to or debating an evolutionist, be on the watch for the following tactics:

1. Fuzzy Words
• We believe, we think
• Given enough time, it will happen
• Might work
• Must have formed
• must have evolved
• Could possibly have been
• My guess is
• Seems like

Use of “Fuzzy words” demonstrates that evolutionists do not have the evidence to support their claims.

2. Half Truth

• Half true and half false
• Often more effective than the complete lie

Example: The Second La… Continue

If Evolutionists Were Smart...

If evolutionists were smart, they’d stop attacking people and start testing their ideas. But they’re not giving us evidence for evolutionism and evidence against intelligent design or creationism. They’ve left behind an evidence-based argument.

So it begs the question: If the evidence for evolution is so strong, why has Big Science left off evidence-based arguments in favor of the following tactics?

* Using censorship to keep any dissent from evolutionism or [Heaven forbid!] actual criticism o… Continue

Dinosaurs are the newest fad. Will they lead children away from our Creator? Or to Him?

Ever since the first dinosaur reconstructions in the mid 1800's, dinosaurs have been big business. They have been used to sell everything from breakfast cereal to gasoline. And now interest is greater than ever.

A new craze for dinosaurs and related merchandise is sweeping America and other western nations. Almost anywhere children go these days, they are exposed to dinosaurs in one way or another, even on school milk cartons. Furthermore, these creatures are almost as popular with adults. Much… Continue
